The Institute of Automation and Measurement is engaged in sensors and sensor solutions, in distributed and connected sensor systems, in the analysis and processing of sensor and measurement data, as well as in the automation and control of industrial processes and systems.
The core working areas are the development of sensor solutions and distributed sensor systems, process automation and robotics, the design of process control algorithms, and the development of sensor signal processing algorithms and mathematical methods for measurement data analysis, including research in physics enabled machine learning approaches.
